and you wake up, and get out of bed. wash your face, drink water, and eat breakfast. call your family, call your friends. go to class. do your homework. work out. do the things you have to do, even though your mind is screaming for you to lie down and stare at the ceiling and drown in the feelings of hurt and ache. because today you are a winner. some days you will not be. some days you will drown. but you are a conquerer. and one day you will be a survivor.

oh god i tried to explain i’d’ve and y’all’d’ve to a friend who is a korean exchange student and she just kind of stared at me in horror for a minute lmao

does anyone else constantly get the feeling that you’re running out of time?? and for no reason!! i could be lying in bed in the middle of summer vacation and my mind is like “hurry up!!! before it’s too late!!!” and i’m just like “hurry up and do what?? leave me alone wtf!!!”
I might not be the coolest, smartest or prettiest but for sure I’m the sleepiest.

- 1 cup peeled and diced potatoes
- ¼ cup diced carrots
- 1/3 cup diced onion
- ¾ cup water from the boiled vegetables
- ½ cup cashews (nut free alternative: 1/3 cup coconut cream+ 2 tbsp tahini)
- ¼ plant milk (almond, soy, rice, just pick your favourite)
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast (you can leave this out but the cheese sauce won’t taste v cheesy)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½- 1 tsp salt
Boil the veggies and the cashews (it will make them easier to blend) until the veggies are soft. Save ¾ of the boiled vegetable water, and add it into the blender along with all the other ingredients. Blend until smooth, adjust seasoning (I would recommend adding in pepper, garlic powder, and a little cayenne). Serve over macaroni and enjoy! I serve this with some steamed broccoli to balance the meal out.
